I created this site to support Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) graduate students who are the future of our profession. I will add resources, research, tool, strategies, tips, and any information that I feel will be useful in their developing SLP toolbox. The content is informational, not recommendations. Use everything to build your differential diagnosis skill set. Embrace your power and “Benevolence” should be an action word.

Information for Public School Therapists

You can refer to the link below for information about Medicaid services within the public schools. All therapists in the public schools have a responsibility to document services if a student is receiving Medicaid services and the school can bill for these services. This information is provided by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicaid School-Based Services (SBS) Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to support State Medicaid agencies, State educational agencies, and local education agencies in operationalizing Medicaid SBS.
